We are recruiting an IT Manager to join the leadership team of a prestigious luxury mountain resort in the breathtaking Italian Dolomites. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the property’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations while delivering an exceptional digital experience for both guests and colleagues.

Working closely with the hotel’s leadership team and corporate IT function, you will play a key role in maintaining critical business systems, implementing new technologies and driving continuous improvement across the resort.

The Role

As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and reliably around the clock. You will act as the property’s technology expert, providing support to colleagues and guests while helping to introduce innovative solutions that enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and security of all IT systems, networks, hardware and telecommunications.
  • Work closely with corporate IT teams to implement new technologies, upgrades and company-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain maximum uptime of all critical business systems, ensuring 24/7 operational availability.
  • Build strong working relationships across all hotel departments, providing responsive technical support and expert guidance.
  • Manage relationships with external IT suppliers and service providers, overseeing contracts, software licensing and service level agreements.
  • Deliver prompt technical support for hotel guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Develop and deliver engaging IT training for hotel colleagues, promoting best practice and system adoption.
  • Manage and prioritise daily IT support requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend technology solutions that support the hotel’s operational objectives.

About You

  • Previous IT management experience within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
  • A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least three years’ experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, networks and end users.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative communicator who enjoys working with colleagues across all departments.
  • Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken, are essential.
  • Candidates must have the right to live and work within the European Union.

We’re looking for a finance leader with 5+ years of luxury hotel experience, strong expertise in new openings or transitional environments, and advanced knowledge of hospitality financial systems, controls, and compliance. Exceptional analytical skills, team leadership ability, and proficiency in Italian GAAP, USALI, taxation, and core hotel systems (Opera, Micros/Simphony, Birchstreet, SunSystems) are essential.
