An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join a prestigious international hotel group located in Venice. The hotels offers a unique blend of luxury, tranquillity, and world-class hospitality, featuring beautifully designed accommodations, multiple dining venues, a destination spa, and extensive event spaces.
As Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the financial leadership of the hotel, ensuring robust financial management practices while contributing to the continued success of this iconic luxury destination.
In addition to supporting the day-to-day management of accounting operations, this role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily accounting activities and financial reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage audits and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
• Assist in leading and developing the finance team
Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in finance and accounting, ideally within hospitality or a luxury environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with financial systems/ERP
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Candidates must have the right to work in the EU. Italian speakers preferred but not essential. This is an onsite position, Monday – Friday.
