We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join the leadership team of a prestigious 5-star hotel in the heart of New York City. This role supports the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional fiscal stewardship aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, audits, and local regulations
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to hotel leadership
- Support cash flow management and internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4–6 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems and US GAAP
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
